COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Frambozen is inspired by the centuries old Belgian tradition of brewing beer with raspberries. This high gravity brew undergoes a slow second fermentation with tons of fresh, whole Fraser Valley raspberries. The result is a ruby-red fruit beer with a intense raspberry flavour, a nice tart finish and a luscious pink head.

Vibrant ruby red. Raspberry and sweet malt on the nose. Tart fruit mixes nicely with the malt and the finish is quite refreshing. Good variation of the Belgian style

Deep, lovely red. Very enticing raspberry nose. Sour, but not too sour. A bitter edge to the palate brings what complexity there is. Still brings the thing I came for- raspberries.

Perefct summer beer. Really intense fruity taste. But the very light red color does not suit the appearance of a cool beer...

Draught at the brewpub, as Raspberry Belgian Triple, at 9.5% ABV
Ruby red color, creamy head. Aroma of raspberries. Good body strength; flavor of raspberry syrup, with malt backbone and too much bitterness for this beer; moderate sweetness, and clear alcohol perception. Not the worst fruit beer around, a bit artificial and boozy.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Pink coloured body with a thin white head. Real raspberry aromas. Initially tart and promissing, a lot of sugar and malt base behind it made this one go the other way. i wanted the tartness. Average mouthfeel, decent drinkability.

Deep ruby color, small reddish head. Sweetish, slightly tart rasberry aroma. Medium-bodied. Dry flavor of rasberries and rasberry stones. Nice body, but not much going on in this brew. Clean.

Nose of fresh raspberry, light belgian yeast, a touch of tartness, a hint winey. Pours reddish purple brown, nice off pinkish head. The flavor is full of fresh raspberry, light fresh tartness, a hint of belgian yeast base, and a light alcohol note in the finish. Nice fruit strong fruit beer. Good.

GCBF 2010. Orangey-pink, lively head. Pungent, real-raspberry aroma. Fresh raspberry fruit flavour, sweet and a little syrupy, but balanced by a medicinal tartness.

Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours reddish pink with a pink head. Aroma of raspberries and some tartness. Flavour is pretty much the same, with the tartness on the finish. Quite decent.
