2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 24, 2011
Draught at the brewpub, as Raspberry Belgian Triple, at 9.5% ABV Ruby red color, creamy head. Aroma of raspberries. Good body strength; flavor of raspberry syrup, with malt backbone and too much bitterness for this beer; moderate sweetness, and clear alcohol perception. Not the worst fruit beer around, a bit artificial and boozy.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10935) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - JUN 15, 2005
Bright red colour. Slightly candyish raspberry aroma. Fruity, lively flavours, with a trace of alcohol for dryness. Tart, juicy finish. Not balanced, but it has good body and a very fresh raspberry character owing to the use of whole fruit.

Deep ruby color, small reddish head. Sweetish, slightly tart rasberry aroma. Medium-bodied. Dry flavor of rasberries and rasberry stones. Nice body, but not much going on in this brew. Clean.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 JoeMcPhee (7618) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2004
Bright ruby red colour with a thin slightly pink head. Sright sweet raspberry aroma with the pronounced bitterness of raspberry seeds. Flavour shows lots of raspberry on the front with a burst of tart tannins in the middle before a short acidic finish. Very interesting, if somewhat thin body. Tasty brew, but not all that complex.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7029) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2011
Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Pink coloured body with a thin white head. Real raspberry aromas. Initially tart and promissing, a lot of sugar and malt base behind it made this one go the other way. i wanted the tartness. Average mouthfeel, decent drinkability.

Nose of fresh raspberry, light belgian yeast, a touch of tartness, a hint winey. Pours reddish purple brown, nice off pinkish head. The flavor is full of fresh raspberry, light fresh tartness, a hint of belgian yeast base, and a light alcohol note in the finish. Nice fruit strong fruit beer. Good.

GCBF 2010. Orangey-pink, lively head. Pungent, real-raspberry aroma. Fresh raspberry fruit flavour, sweet and a little syrupy, but balanced by a medicinal tartness.

Sweet raspberries in the simple, jammy nose. Opaque red body is topped by a low white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Lightly tart wheat flavour with plenty of residual sweetness and raspberries. Long sweet fruity aftertaste. Light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub as CapFlu ran to catch the float plane.
