Plenty of British Crystal malt in the grist lends this ale its rich color, its caramel maltiness, and adds the occasional whiff of toffee to the nose. An addition of American and German hops to the kettle at the end of the boil is used to suffuse our Pale Ale with a gently spicy hop finish.

500 ml can from Real Canadian Liquorstore, served in a goblet. Pours a reddish-golden hue with light, fine carbonation and a milky head, leaving thin lace rings. Nose proves light, bright, and fresh, with lemon, lime and grapefruit, whiffs of tropicals, and light buttery toast; on the tongue, the warm toasty elements emerge to match the pace of the soft citrus. A little thick, and the citrus lingers briefly. A pleasant and very accessible pale ale that feels a lot like an ISA in all aspects but its 5.2% ABV.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a light orange colour, small white rocky head. Aroma is medium malty, with notes of bread and cereal, slightly hoppy, with notes of herbs and grass; modern hops in a traditional style; good but a little faint. Taste is medium sweet, slightly bitter, slightly sour, balanced and elegant. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. A good modern take on a traditional style.

Clear golden of color with a nice foamy white head. An aroma of lemon, citrus, hops and bitter. A bitter flavor with citrus, lemon, hops and dry. Weak sweet notes. A very nice pale ale.

A great beer. What I noticed was a distinguishing nose and a unique hoppy taste that I thought was lemony. Not too overpowering

Goldig und klar. Geruch nach Melone. Wenig süß, dafür aber mundvoll. Sehr viel bitterer als sich 35 IBU lesen.

355 ml bottle @ Timo A. BBE 18.04.2016.
Pours clear pale golden color with a smal head, interesting label graphic. Aroma is not that good, clove, soap, herbs and grass. Flavor follows the same lines with mild apricot and peach. Not very pleasant, moderately bitter with sweet fruity finish.

Can. Thin pale malt nose, light fruitiness. Thin but bright straw color. Small perfumey sweetness, minimal hopping, tiny tang in mid palate, fades quickly. Thin body. Thin, sweet, okay.
