COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Plenty of British Crystal malt in the grist lends this ale its rich color, its caramel maltiness, and adds the occasional whiff of toffee to the nose. An addition of American and German hops to the kettle at the end of the boil is used to suffuse our Pale Ale with a gently spicy hop finish.

Aroma of malt with hints of pine resin and floral hops. Pours a caramel color with minimal head and minimal carbonation. Watery feel with a taste of floral hops, malt and pine resin, with a mild hop finish.

On June 21, 2015. At Steamworks Brewpub, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Only on as "Pale Ale", but guessing this is where to put it.
Hazy golden color, white head. Hoppy, green, floral, sweet taste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Hoppy, fruity scent.

The beer pours a very clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma blends pils malt and grassy hops, and the taste is slightly sweet and a touch bitter with an overall flavor that’s very light and unoffensive. The palate fuses an average carbonation, light body, and a thin texture.

From bottle. Pours light orange with small head which disappears quickly. Light fruity aroma with caramel note. Taste grapefruit, resin, caramel. Bitterness bigger than expected. Medium carbonation, smooth, bitter.

Pours clear pale gold with one finger of rocky white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, moderate lacing. (3/5) Nose is light tropical fruit and pine, caramel/toffee malt, light citrus, honey. (6/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Medium to light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry mild bitter finish. (3/5) Surprisingly good for the price - I went into it with low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. Body and flavours are on the light side, tending to the watery. Could definitely stand to be bolder. (12/20)

Can bought @ Berlin Braufest 2015.

500 ml can as "Steamworks Pale Ale" bought at Craft Bier Fest Wien Tasting Sessions.
Clear, golden body, with a medium, frothy, lacing, off-white head.
Quite light aroma of grapefruit, flowers, candy, some peach, some pine, some soap.
Taste follows this, also quite light, watery, with a bit more biscuit malts.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes soft, medium bitter, zesty, piney, a bit sweet malty.

Quite boring. Much too light, watery. The hops are propably just noticeable, because the malt body is also pretty light. Not sure if the can is too old, or the beer itself is just brewed that thin.

Can. Hazy golden body with nice white head. Aroma is fruity and malty with hints of pines. Taste is also caramel malts with some citrus. Aftertaste is nice balanced between hop bitterness and malt sweetness. Nice one. There must have been a difference between the cans and the bottles.

Bottle at Craft Bier Fest Tasting Sessions: Perfume aroma, malts. Flavor is also perfume with flowers, herbal hops. Not very good...
