2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Steamworks. Clear copper appearance with a thin head which leaves some lacing. Seems more like an IPA, with itís distinct hoppy taste. Aftertaste was a little too rough for my liking. Overall an average that I would like to try again for a second opinion.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This Pale Ale poured a clear amber colour with a nice, off white foamy head. Scents include pineapple/citrus hops, a little grass, sweet malts and cereal. First sip was very nice with a nice balance between hop and malt. Finish is lightly bitter with spruce hop flavor lingering.

355ml bottle. Clear golden body, medium yellow head, decent retention. Aroma is sweet and floral: caramel, toasted rye bread, floral hops, tangerine. Taste: upfront a nice bitter herbal hops, sweet caramel, toast, autumn leaves. Boring like 1000 other Cascade clones.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pours a hazed gold with orange highlights, 1 finger white sticky cap has moderate retention and lacing ability. Moderate carbonation, peppery mouth feel, bright citrus-pine character. Aroma is light but fragrant with pale malt and citrus peel tones. Flavour is a fine balance between sturdy pale malt sweetness and piney hop bittering, finish is clan and sharp with the bittering increasing to a nice hop bite at the end. Nice good drinking pale, Iíd buy more

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 ml bottle from LCBO (part of BC Craft Brewers Sampler). Pours a clear golden orange with average-sized white head. Aroma is moderate resiny/citric hops, some caramel and some light spiciness. Flavour has prominent but not overstated resiny hops with some zesty citrus, modest pepper and a modest caramel backbone as well as an underlying earthiness. Interesting APA with slight UK notes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355 mL bottle. Nice badging. A bit of a gusher upon opening. Nice coppery-gold colour with a small off-white head. Mild, malty aroma has a touch of floral hops. Not a lot going on in terms of flavour in this seemingly British pale ale - mostly caramel up front, with a touch of herbal hops in the finish. Quite drinkable, and probably better on tap.
