2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Worty, but flavorful, this lager is flawed, but still above its ilk. It’s a bit hard to drink in terms of aftertaste and defects, but overall it is best when mixed with bourbon.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on 9/19/2010. This amber pours a medium amber color from a 12oz can. Small to medium sized white foamy head, decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, caramel and sweet. A medium to light bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are herbal. A little sweet and somewhat nutty with some hop bitterness. Decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can, sampled on 6/7/10: Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Has a semi-sweet toasty caramel malty nose with some grassy hop notes. Starts with pretty good fullness and sweet chewy caramel maltiness well-balanced with some grassy hop bitterness before a smooth lightly doughy finish. A good dark lager.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[355ml can from Beers of Europe] Pours amber-brown with a thick cream head. Slight fizz, but a smooth mouthfeel. Smells malty. Taste is initially metallic, but that soon fades to leave sweet malts with the taste (but not the bitterness) of American hops - lemon and pine. A little oaky vanilla in the background develops into a sweet (but very short) honey finish. A very pleasant, easy drinking beer that tastes great - I could happily chug a few of these!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from Beers of Europe. Apple aroma. Medium brown colour. This is a new concept in beer for me. It is not like a lager or a bitter. Sweet malty flavour Aftertaste not great. Good artwork on the tin. Overall this one is interesting rather than good.

Can. [thank you, papsoe]
Pours a nice clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has some resiny hops, grapefruit and wet caramel sweetness. High carbonation, light watery palate. Flavour is sweet, caramel. Nowhere near as hoppy or bitter as the aroma would have lead me to believe.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body, sweet roasted malts, toffee and caramel and dusty American aroma hops leaving a discreet bitterness. Basically like an Amber Ale. 020210
