Herbal/spiced aroma with a good amount cinnamon and liquorice and--very inviting. Almost clear orange-brown wth some beige foam on top. Nicely balanced sweet, lotus root malt with a dry, pumpkin pie spice, and a very low, liquorice bitterness. Also a touch of sourness. Medium to light body, medium carbonation, slight tang in the finish. Very good.

Aroma is all pumpkin supporters, clove, nutmeg. etc. etc. Taste is all spice, pumpkin, and .... soo tired of rating pumpkin beers... most of the same. Good effort! cgreb (180), Marburg, Germany

Murky deep amber colour with a thin, tight tan head. Why has the pumpkin not jumped out more? Seems very subdued. Slight fruit, pumpkin pie spice without the pumpkin, mild licorice, roses? A touch odd but decent. The taste pretty good: hops and dirty spices, pumpkin, nutmeg, wheat, sour, watery spices that might close in on a pepper flavour. A bit rough on the edges, mild carb, long spicy finish with mild hops. More of a spiced English brew than a pumpkin based one. BrewDad (2402), Olympia, Washington, USA

Tastes of dark crystal malt and lots of pumpkin spice - not a lot of pulpy vegetal notes, it’s hard to taste the actual pumpkin for the spicing. Decent hopping and a dry finish. Body is very light with decent carb, making this a very sessionable pumpkin ale. I like it! Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, China

I really enjoy it and try to drink a pint at the pub every year. It tastes to me like liquid pumpkin pie, only better. Nicely spiced, and complex.
