harrisoni (5121), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 22, 2008 Bottle from GBBF 08. Clear copper, lasting thick ivory head. A fairly attractive aroma of subtle hop. Bit syrupy in mouth maybe. Some grapefruit on end. not very bitter on end. It’s alright, quite subtle as I say, nice sherbert. CaptainCougar (4633), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jan 25, 2008 Pours a transparent copper bronze with a thin spotty-lacing white head. Aroma has some fresh grapefruity hoppy character and some sweet caramel notes. Body starts fairly full for the style with a good sweet malt backbone balanced with citrusy bittering hops toward a crisp, dry bittersweet finish. A nice APA. hopdog (4541), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 11, 2006 Updated: Dec 25, 200612oz bottle. Poured a medium and lightly hazy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel and citrus. Medium sweet with a very light bitter finish. Definitely sweeter than bitter. I would have guessed this was an Amber or Pale Ale vs. an IPA.
