COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Over a kilo of hops per barrel(Galena first wort, Green Bullet bittering, Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Jade & Citra for flavour) went in so there should be plenty of hop flavour and aroma, plus we’re going to use our new hop-steeping bags in the FV with Crystal (hops not malt!) and more Pacific Jade

Bottle consumed with Gazza and my dad 01.09.11, cheers Gazza for bringing this along Having just had the Steel City CTZ it could well have been a case of ’ after the Lord Mayors Show but despite not quite hitting the lofty heights of the CTZ this held its own pretty well. Pours gold with a slim white head. This is crisp and with a nice fruitiness in the mouth, a thoroughly decent drop, with some late citrussy pithiness coating the roof of the mouth. Can’t fault this although I did think that the nose was just a little shy and subdued which is not really something you would normally say about Gazza and Dave’s beers. Anyway whilst not quite in the same league as the CTZ which is the benchmark that everything is going to have to aim for tonight , this is still a most enjoyable beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Draught @ Cruise Roma - Barcelona, Un Mare di Birra, Grimaldi Lines.

Unclear hazy medium matt orange yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toastted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus, light peach. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, dry, fresh, and very each to drink. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110613]
