Can courtesy of Blipp at Max’s 30th. Never underestimate Blipp’s ability to find the rare BMCs. Pours pale yellow with white head. Nose is corn, sheet metal and light skunk. Taste is nothing. Absolutely nothing. Maybe some light corn water. Light water thin body.

Can via Mr. R. Garbage, originally from the Hoffdoge? Thanks! Crystal clear golden. Faint whiff of dusty hops, neutral otherwise. Definitely watery, but clean beery flavor comes through. Nothing major wrong with this. The whole is better than the sum of its parts. Perhaps adding water minimizes the negative aspects of the whole malt likka thing, because other than being a little light on boost, this ones fine.

Can in adnielsen’s parents’ basement. Pours a wispy grain color. Aroma is malt liquor through and through. Taste is watery and grainy. Not offensive i guess

Big fucken can @ home, courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Thanks! Kind of hard to confirm this is the 4% version on the can. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a thin white head. Corn, grape must, lemon, and garbage in the nose. Spritzy, tangy grassy, grainy malty, corny flavor that is well carbonated. Not all that great.

Can thanks to Andrew. Pours a clear yellow with a medium head. Smells of chemicals and dishwasher water. Flavors of water, semi-sweet corn, and diluted chemicals.

7/13/13. 24oz can thanks to randomgarbage and deyholla! Clear golden pour with a small offwhite head. Metallic, corn, caramel, etc. Better than the OE because it’s not skunky, but that’s about it.

Can courtesy of Dave. Thanks! Golden pour with a white head. Kind of a pool water aroma. Chlorine, water, corn, and some malt sweetness. A touch of banana and apple. There is a light sweetness to the flavor of corn, apple, and banana. Chlorine, water, and some grass, too.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2013 24oz can of label claimed "High Gravity Lager" whatever that means at 4% ABV (and 3.2% ABW). It makes me wonder what the Normal Gravity Lager must be like. This pours with a clear deep golden body that supported an initially tall white head. The aroma offers up corn sweetness, mild sweet apple fruity esters and then plain old vague sugary sweetness. The taste has a bit of prickly carbonation pushing up a faint lemon note right from the start. But mostly this has modestly sweet notes of apples, pears, corn and some grainy malts. This lacks the boozy chemical harshness that defines the style in my opinion.

24 oz can to pint (shared with the Mrs.; HUGE thanks to browland for this .RAHR tick). Looks fine; a transparent gold with white head. Smells doughy and a little skunky. Tastes like it smells with a touch of metal on the palate. Not good, but better than I expected.
