COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The two eleven mark, based on the medieval symbol for steel, appears only on Steel Reserve(R) High Gravity lager. We use nearly twice the ingredients of many normal lagers & brew for over twice as long as many quality beers.

A: The beer is a light golden color with a very fluffy white head. There are tons of bubbles. S: Corn and grain sweetness, along with some alcohol. No hops, no surprise. T: Very sweet, but also some off flavors. There is a definite heat from the alcohol on the finish. M: Very light bodied and very effervescent. D: If it’s cold enough, you can take it down quickly. And I recommend doing so.

Can during RBWG hotel lobby tasting night 1, 19/02/15, guess thanks to Homer or Drewface I reckon ? Pale golden with a big old white covering. Nose is pale malts, cereal, grain. Taste comprises paper, light caramel, grain, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a smooth satisfying feel, light booze essence at the curtain call. Looks good, feels good - ok ML.

24 oz can. Store was going out of business - 30% off - only one can. Not much to lose. Decent golden color. Creamy white head. Smells of corn and yeast. Starts with corn and alcohol, moving on to alcohol. Develops something of a nasty wet paper taste, before finishing with corn. Twice the ingredients and twice as long a brew - so twice the alcohol, but not twice the flavor. Not the greatest aftertaste.

Bottle. Poured a light amber with a large rocky head. After the appearance the brew went downhill from there. Light aroma and flavor of watery hops. Small body and texture with short finish. Alcohol bite at finish. Below average brew.
