Why in the hell do you idiots take the time out of your life to pour, examine, and rate black steel reserve? Itís a dollar fifty 24oz can of malt liquor. If you think the buyers of this are researching your reviews youíre sorely mistaken.

Can from Gas Station. Pours a dull yellow with a thick white head. The aromas are corn, skunk. The mouthfeel is slightly dry and bready with a medium body and light carbonation. Lotís of alcohol taste in this thing. Isnít good at all.

Steel Reserve 211 Triple Export has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance, with almost no lacing left behind. The aroma is funky, meaning sickly-sweet grain husk. The taste is rich and bold: sweet grain, minimal hop bitterness, corn, and sugar. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Steel Reserve 211 Triple Export finishes crisp and mildly refreshing. Itís gameyness limits its drinkability. This is interesting and even good. I recommend giving it a try. RJT

24oz can from the state store. What was I thinking? The good: Pours crystal clear golden with a big white head and some lacing. The bad: Everything else! Sweet, corn, honey. The taste is bitter alcohols. I should have put it in the freezer, maybe it would have been better. Footbalmed 23ozís.

5/4/12. 24oz can. At first sip, I have to say, this is less offensive than many of the malt liquors Iíve had in the past couple of weeks. Sweet, grainy aroma with touches of corn and apples. Sweet flavor as well, more apple and sweet graininess - and something that is distinctly fruity, almost tropical - like a pina colada or something... very interesting. I have to say, for 8.1% and about a buck a tallboy, this is surprisingly unoffensive.

Okay... Bottom line I had tried the original and found this while on vacation in Florida. I was at a middle of no where gas station by the hotel and it was either this, Pabst or Miller Light... I made the wrong choice although due to the higher alcohol content it did make up for their not being a liquor store around when my wife and I wanted to have a few shots while on vacation, but that is really about all I CAN SY ABOUT IT OTHER THAN... If you are broke, desperate or like me in the middle of Gods country and have limited choices and no liquor store, have at it.

gold pour with a white head. nose is light fruit, sweet malts, yeast, and crisp. easy on the palate, heavy malt flavor, backed with sweet fruits, very easy to drink, alcohol is hidden as well.

Can. Pours gold with soapy white head. Not much to say about aroma. Flavor is somewhat sweet malt with a pleasant grainy character with a balanced subtle hop in the finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium body with very high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, I was a bit shocked. I was ready to slam this beer in rating it but I canít.....

24oz can, black. Orange pour, hazy, lots of floaties (old can?). Sweet aroma, some diesel. Very sweet flavor, some golden raisin. Lots of burn. Close to an Abbey Tripel, minus the standards.

Steel Reserve 211, can it get any worse? Yes, Steel Reserve 211 Triple Expert.
