Plastic nose. Clear yellow, head. Corn and cane sugar flavor but not badly cloying. Better than regular Steel Reserve but still a drain pour.

Can courtesy of Kinz at the 19th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head that quickly fades. Aroma of green banana, grain, grassy hops. The taste is sweet corn, tart finish. Medium bodied, harsh. Foul.

From the can poured a very light yellow brew with a white head. Aromas of malt and alcohol. Light bodied with flavors of malt and bread and a light hop finish.

First and probably last true malt liquor Iíll ever have. Heavy corn smell and taste and becomes absolutely vile if it takes you more than 30 minutes to drink the whole 24 oz monster. I am not a lightweight, and I couldnít feel my face halfway through, which makes me think there is something more than ethanol at work here. Poured out the last third of the can, went to bed, and felt awful the next morning. Good for someone who hates their liver and being able to remember what they did last night.

Why in the hell do you idiots take the time out of your life to pour, examine, and rate black steel reserve? Itís a dollar fifty 24oz can of malt liquor. If you think the buyers of this are researching your reviews youíre sorely mistaken.

Can from Gas Station. Pours a dull yellow with a thick white head. The aromas are corn, skunk. The mouthfeel is slightly dry and bready with a medium body and light carbonation. Lotís of alcohol taste in this thing. Isnít good at all.

Steel Reserve 211 Triple Export has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance, with almost no lacing left behind. The aroma is funky, meaning sickly-sweet grain husk. The taste is rich and bold: sweet grain, minimal hop bitterness, corn, and sugar. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Steel Reserve 211 Triple Export finishes crisp and mildly refreshing. Itís gameyness limits its drinkability. This is interesting and even good. I recommend giving it a try. RJT
