Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 3, 2006 (Can 70,9 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of nothing but brewing cereal. Considering the alcohol, the body is surprisingly thin. Sweetish accents of corn and rice - chicken fodder. The alcohol is deceptively well hidden. A somewhat chemical tang in the finish. 010406 kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 08/19/2007

CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent effervescent golden bronze with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of earthy, grainy pale malts with some noble hops, fusel alcohol and light fruity esters. Body starts lightly sweet and sugary with some bitter noble hops, grainy malt and corn toward a fusel, warming slightly sticky finish. No major brewing defects, but definitely not something I’d choose to drink again. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 3, 2004 Black label can from the liquor store Drank out of a can in a brown paper bag as the style dictates. The aroma is very planty when warmed with some pilsner malts and corn. The flavor is only lightly sweet and a little malty and adjuncty, not much hops, mainly alcohol. This is better than the silver can for sure. Only available at the liquor stores here in boise, can’t be found at the normal beer outlets. hopscotch (4485), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 4, 2006 Can... Clear yellow lager with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma is of honey, black pepper, cooked corn and green apples. Sweet flavor with heavy doses of corn, honey and acetaldehyde. Full-bodied with medium carbonation. Sweet, apple finish. Not at all good. My search for the Westy 12 of malt liquors continues...
