mhelgason (404), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Apr 24, 2008 Can. Sweet corn through and through. But I will say this is a drinkable Malt. Alcohol is suprisingly well hidden.
cheapdark (1516), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 Believe it or not, this is exactly what I asked for in a trade. We don’t get this version around here! Special thanks goes out to riversideAK for the compensation! I owe you one Alex! A big black 24 oz can of malt liquor! Pop the lid and the aroma is a little sweet but nothing really offensive, tho it is a little volatile. Appearance is ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Quite sweeeeeet, initially on the palate, a little syrupy along with cheaper american malt liquor flavors. Reminds me a bit of City brewing Jag but a bit more acceptable. Don’t you just love labels that brag "we believe this to be among the very best beers in the world" When they are around the cheapest beers in the world? heheheh, really? Do they mean among the best beers that are guaranteed to catch you a buzz? A little difficult at times, need a little more carbonation. Finish approaches the gag reflex, how interesting. Malt liquor expose’!!! A little dizzying in the end. Quite a rude experience, but I asked for it! I love to see how much punishment I can endure. UriahHeep (23), Georgia, USA May 30, 2008 24 ounce can. Poured pale yellow with a few inches of white head which was gone within minutes and left no lacing to speak of. Odor of unpleasant barley and malt. Taste is slighty more tolerable. Corn and malt is evident. Moderate carbonation. Slightly bitter/skunky finish. Nothing exotic here, but the high alcohol content makes this an interesting brew. Ansset13 (120), Wilmington, North Carolina, USA May 22, 2008 Slumming, this malt liquor smell like a can of hills science diet for dogs. It tastes like a can of carbonated corn juice, which is not what one wants when drinking beer, or anything. If I could chew and swallow it, this may not be a bad side dish for a southern country meal. It’s only and I mean ONLY saving grace is its 8.1% ABV, which is strong for a can of creamed corn! douglas88 (610), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jan 17, 2008 24 oz. can. Pours a light gold with a tiny head. The aroma is really light; some malts. The taste is really smooth and thin, some malt and dirty water. A easygoing taste but at least 8.1%. Not good.
