COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma in Size 7 more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Northwest style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced weíll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack).

22oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a thick creamy head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is full of pineapple and pine resin but also a hefty caramel malt sweetness - very balanced in the nose. Taste is also very balanced with caramel malts and toasted grains on one hand and grapefruit and pienapple on the other. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and sweeter than many IPAs. Itís got some prickly character with decent carbonation. This is one of the better balanced IPAs Iíve had recently. Iím not sure if Iím as big a fan of this than I am some of the hop-heavy IPAs out there, but it certainly makes it drinkable.

Pours orange with white lacing. Notes of pine and resin. A little watery, but refreshing. Bitter with minimal sweetness.

Bomber via trade. Poured a nice looking rusty orange under a smaller foamy bright white head. Aroma of cirus, grassy hops, syrup, wet toast, amber malts and caramel. Fuller bodied with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is a bit drier then the sweet aroma but very nice, notes of hops over toast and caramel. This is a great IPA.

Bottle shared thanks to Dmac. Pours out a moderate clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is of light tropical fruits, citrus, light bready malts. Taste is citrusy grapefruit hops, light tropical fruits, mild malty notes with a solid punch of hops on a really dry finish.

Golden color, big white head fades fast. Very floral nose, fairly bitter, nice IPA, the pride of SLP.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2013 Hop heavy in taste and aroma. Notes of grapefruit, citrus, and pine. Nice and deep gold. Palate is full but not overwhelming. Overall, when you get it 3 days old on growler you can really beat it! Best IPA ever!

Tasty IPA, big and grainy and herbal, with a pungent hop middle that rolls into a huge bitter finish. Starts semisweet, with a great earthy malt middle, and then the hops explode into an oily IBU finish, funky and strong with a lovely citric herbal backbone. Finishes hoppy and happy. Very nice IPA.

Light orange with an ivory, foamy head. Piney, hop aroma with grapefruit and sourdough. Moderately strong bitterness that hangs on for a little while. Medium to light bodied, with the carbonation making it feel lighter. Remembered this being better on tap at Muddy Waters with dinner, by itself from a bottle - i didnít enjoy it as much.

Bottle from alpar! Thanks Alex! Pours light copper with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, resin, florals and some dankness. Taste is sweet with citrus and some sharp bitterness that is ultimately balances nicely. Itís a little perfumey, but really, pretty nice. I could see myself putting back o few of these.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a really nice dank pine hops with a bit of marijuana and a hint of a malt back bone. Flavor begins with dank pine up front that mellows to earthy pine and grass with a backing light grain note.
