3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle purchased at The Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. I also had this on draft at the brewery tasting room. Pour is a a mostly clear golden copper with a well formed off white one inch head. The aroma is fresh bitter resin hops, some dusty dried flowers, and a light orange peel. The taste is the resinous bitter hops, leafy and dirty mineral, turning to the hint of the dried floral of the nose. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, and featuring a bone dry mineral finish. Nice one.

I like IPAs, I really do, but it’s easy to run out of ways to describe them. You got a little bit of caramel, then some hops. Look, not every beer needs to be complicated. Simple can be tasty, too.

bomber from Dalzale and shared with Nimrod. poured a clear orange-copper color with a decent head which was slow to fade. loved the aroma on this one, grapefruit, citrus and some floral notes. flavor had some malty sweetness, but was dominated by the hop bitterness. medium carbonation. an enjoyable IPA. thanks Greg.

Floral and honey aroma. Bright, yellow-orange color. Nice citrus hop flavor that finishes sweet and bitter. Very nice IPA from a new local Twin City Metro area brewer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2011 Bottle to snifter. Pours clear bright amber with a soapy white head that fades to a tight film and leave spotty lacing. Aroma is gentle and solid spruce and grapefruit with subtle herbal scents. Taste is bright grapefruit and spruce with a resinous and herbal finish (really reminds me of Trix cereal). Palate is medium and chaulky with a solid carbonation and lasting bitterness throughout. Very well done, really enjoying everything thus far!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear light orange pour, decent half inch head after a careful pour and a dry & very hoppy aroma. Flavor is a little bit of orange and tons of tongue piercing hops. Woudn’t mind a little more malt on this one, but still really nice for a $5 hop-bomb 22oz bottle.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Poured into a NB tulip glass a clear, medium colored copper with a slightly off white tan head. Nice hoppy aroma with notes of both citrus and florals. Medium mouthfeel. Slightly malty sweet start gives way to nice hop kick that provides a nice lingering bitterness. Citrus rind notes. Lasting citrus rind. Overall, a really nice drinking IPA that comes off pretty well balanced. Slightly watery towards the end. Some lace.
