COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma in Size 7 more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Northwest style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced we’ll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack).

Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy hoppy aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

22 oz. bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a clear golden amber color with a small white head. The aroma had a mild malt backbone, but is dominated by grapefruit citrus, resin and a splash of caramel. The flavor opens with a big grapefruit, resin, pine hop profile; caramel malts, moderately dry with a moderate bitterness. This is a solid IPA.

Bottled sample. Orange gold in colour with medium carbonation. Very floral aroma, with notes of orange blossom and grapefruit backed by notes of pale and mild caramel malt. Flavors are of grapefruit fresh cut prine, clean malt with a bit of pine sap and caramel. Medium bodied with a chunky bitterness. Really solid stuff.

Bomber to taster (thanks kbutler1). Looks solid; a transparent orange with fluffy white head. Smells good; hoppy with a malty backbone. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. A great example of the style.

Clear effervescent amber in color with a small lasting off white head. Adaquate lacing. Aromas of pine needles and citrus. Nothing extraordinary in an IPA, but very solid nonetheless.

22 ounce thanks to khoffman43. Piney and resin malty IPA. Some fruity tastes to it as well. Dry for an IPA. Nice bitter aroma.

Growler from brewery. Clear orange-amber color. Tall whit foamy head with significant lacing. Brilliant fresh hop aroma. Very pleasant strong oily hop flavor with a solid malty backbone. Piney flavor more than anything. Floral, woody and a bit fruity. Very nice IPA.

Thanks to Steasy66 for the trade! Pours clear gold with a sticky white head. Fresh citrus hop aroma. Well balanced flavor, the bitterness is firm and only gives way to some dryness at the end of the finish.

Received in trade as an extra from Urbancaver, thanks for the opportunity Cam! Pours a crystal clear deep amber color with a good sized bone white head that persists forever and streaks the sides with lots of sticky lace. Earthy herbal minty piney citrus bread and caramel aromas abound, its definitely got that old school IPA feel to it. The flavor is caramel and sweet bready malt with enough earth and citrus to provide a fair amount of balance. A touch of ethanol reminds me this is 7%. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Nice IPA, I’m glad I got to try it.

Dark gold pour with a large fluffy off white head. Excellent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and orange zest, pine, light sweet/caramel malt notes lingering in the background. Flavor is more citrus and tropical fruit than the aroma suggests. Good grapefruit and orange flavors meet peach, papaya, mango and pineapple. Light sweetness from the malt lingers as well. The fruit is cut nicely by a strong (but not coarse) bitterness. Long bitter finish with a little sweetness. Medium body with perfect carbonation. This is a solid IPA that I wish I could have more frequently. Big thanks to kbutler1 for this beer!
