Bottle (old I think) shared by my brother. Pours a hazy light orange, decent head. I get a lot of bready malts on the nose, less on the tongue. Its not bad, but its definitely not good. One of Steel Toe’s weaker offerings. I will try again since I think this bottle was "aged"

Bottle @ Brad’s house Minneapolis, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks a bunch Brad! Pours a cloudy light yellow appearance with a white head. Rich clove, bready yeasty, spicy, light banana aroma. Somewhat light, quite estery, clove, light banana, lemon, somewhat chewy flavor. Ok.

22 oz bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a fully hazed light orange with a small 1/4 inch white head. The aroma is a somewhat sharp grain wheat, along with clove and some dry grass. The taste is the wheat grain, much softer than the nose, blended nicely with the clove and grass. The palate is light bodied, un-filtered mouth feel, soft carbonation, bit of mineral with a somewhat watery finish. Simple, straight forward beer, enjoyable. I like hefe’s that don’t throw off too much banana and bubblegum; this one fit that bill.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GT2 (5661) - Riverslime, California, USA - AUG 30, 2012
651mL thanks to mattyb83. Pours a dirty, darker orange, fuller haze. Weak white head. No retention. Spotty lace. Nose is tangerine, sharp pear, vanilla, baked cinnamon apples. Taste is very bland, cereal, watery. Palate is doughy, small soap, thinner palate.

22 oz bottle. Pours a very hazy lazy sunshine yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Flavors are wheat, banana, yeasty esters. Light bodied. Finish is crisp and clean, with just a hint of pepper or clove spice. Solid beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 portableparty (1598) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUL 23, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Pours pale straw yellow with a quick sudsy white head that settles to a thin collar. Aroma is spicy yeast and bready malt with subtle clove and lemon. Taste is the same as the aroma with a more pepper note and some what heavy finish. Palate seems heavy and drying.

22 ounce bottle pours a nice cloudy golden orange color. Aromas of oranges, light banana, tons of wheat, and some light grain. Flavors are all wheat up front and tons of oranges after the first taste. Really nice beer and very enjoyable for the summer time.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Pawola22 (3107) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2012
22oz bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Pours a hazy, orange-golden colored body with an inch thick, dense and frothy, egg-shell white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is grainy wheats with a bit of a breadiness, slightly tart lemon, a light banana, a touch of vanilla, and some clove and coriander phenols. Flavor is better. Nice, slightly grainy and sweet wheat malts up front with a pleasant, very lightly tart lemon citrus throughout. A light banana note, some clove, and a touch of coriander before this finishes clean with a light yeast spice, banana, and slightly sweet wheat. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light, clean and smooth body with a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid hefe. The aroma wasn’t quite my thing, but the flavor was nice. Slightly sweet wheat malts, a light banana, lemon citrus, and a soft spicing. Clean, balanced, and easy drinking. Not bad.
