22 oz bottle. Pours a very hazy lazy sunshine yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Flavors are wheat, banana, yeasty esters. Light bodied. Finish is crisp and clean, with just a hint of pepper or clove spice. Solid beer.

22 oz. bottle. Pours pale straw yellow with a quick sudsy white head that settles to a thin collar. Aroma is spicy yeast and bready malt with subtle clove and lemon. Taste is the same as the aroma with a more pepper note and some what heavy finish. Palate seems heavy and drying.

22 ounce bottle pours a nice cloudy golden orange color. Aromas of oranges, light banana, tons of wheat, and some light grain. Flavors are all wheat up front and tons of oranges after the first taste. Really nice beer and very enjoyable for the summer time.

22oz bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Pours a hazy, orange-golden colored body with an inch thick, dense and frothy, egg-shell white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is grainy wheats with a bit of a breadiness, slightly tart lemon, a light banana, a touch of vanilla, and some clove and coriander phenols. Flavor is better. Nice, slightly grainy and sweet wheat malts up front with a pleasant, very lightly tart lemon citrus throughout. A light banana note, some clove, and a touch of coriander before this finishes clean with a light yeast spice, banana, and slightly sweet wheat. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light, clean and smooth body with a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid hefe. The aroma wasn’t quite my thing, but the flavor was nice. Slightly sweet wheat malts, a light banana, lemon citrus, and a soft spicing. Clean, balanced, and easy drinking. Not bad.

Pour on tap, very hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, clove, slight banana, touch of biscuit, bread, hints of earth, touch of vanilla and lemon. Taste is a mix of lemon, white fruit, touch of clove, banana, finishing fairly dry and spicy yeast. Pretty nice, but not super complex.

(bottle) Pours a very hazy gold color with a thin white head and adequate lacing. Certainly looks the part. Aroma starts out on a muted and somewhat disappointing note, with the standard middling hefe aroma that’s dominated by the grain which supresses the estery yeast. More bread than banana. Light dijon mustard and white pepper. Has this spiky quality to the nose, which I don’t look for in hefes, as I seek more roundness. The flavor is much the same, with plenty of wheat dominating the proceedings, and only once in the finish is there a pleasant effect of what I can only describe as a bowl of cream of wheat with dried banana chips in it. Just a glimmer of goodness. The brewer did nail the palate however, as it’s really quite rich and creamy, and they avoided the dreaded lemon water flavor and texture found in many. Overall not a bad go at a hefe, but it really didn’t suit my tastes, although it does possess some redeeming qualities.

Pours a hazy lemon orange with thick frothy white head. Aroma is hay, clove, bread dough. Flavor is a mix of banana, clove, caramel. Body is creamy but offset with very active carbonation.

Draft at republic. Nice banana aroma. Beautiful murky light orange. A little lighter bodied than I was hoping, but still nice.

Draft at the brewery on June 22, 2012. Pour was opaque cloudy yellow that looked like it would be really thick. Aroma was banana and clove. Taste was similar plus some spiciness to it. Medium thickness and a bit of carbonation. Pretty good but not sure I would go back to this time and again like with some others in its style.
