Pours golden. Clean drinkable with grain flavor. This might have been my favorite on the beer sampler, actually.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap at the brewery in Burlingame, California, puts a clear honey colored pour. Nose is rather flat. Taste is flat and without much flavor or taste. Boring! Finish is not much better. Quaff Score 4 /

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the Burlingame brewpub. Clear straw color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, wheat and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not much to say about this besides incredibly boring. Little to no aroma, palate matches aroma. Mouthfeel is about the only good thing about this.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A: The pour is a clear yellow/golden color with a large white head.
S: The nose is fairly light overall. I get a decent amount of yeastiness, some corn, floral hops, and a bit of bread and malt sweetness.
T: Starts off with lots of metal, corn, and yeast. A bit of hop bitterness as well as some actual floral hop flavor. There’s a mild skunk to it, too.
M: The body is medium with a medium to high level of carbonation.
D: Another poor example of the style. I don’t know why breweries insist on making crappy blonde ales.

A golden ale with a thin white head, lacing. A pleasant light hops and berries in aroma. In mouth, a grainy decently hopped ale with a good medium body. Nice ale . On tap at brewpub, Jan. 17 2009.
