Coffee roast aroma. Small beige head. Black and slightly rich on the palate with a bitter coffee roast finish.

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured almost opaque with a tan head. Coffee notes with a fairly roasted aroma. The flavor was sweet with again roast and coffee. Light body.

OC tour, tap at Irvine brewpub: Deep brown hue with a frothy head. The aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, grassy hops, and prune ester. The taste is roasted and charred malts with a hit of chocolate sweetness and herbal hop bitters. The mouth feel is dry and smooth. A drinkable beer, yeah!

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2005 Irvine location. Dark brown. Dry. Mellow chocolate flavor, among others. Mouthfeel is thin, like Guiness. Nothing bad about it. Inoffensive next to food. A solid session beer.
