Cruzan59 (122), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA May 8, 2008 On tap at TJ Rockwell’s, E-town, PA...medium amber in color, no head by the time i got it...aroma had an earthy sweetness to it...flavor showed some malts, citrus, mild hops...went down pretty fast...it was alright.
Dogbrick (2166), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 4, 2008 Sample at the Irvine brewpub. This beer is a clear amber color with a thin and compact beige head that recedes slowly. Spotty lacing. Light malt and caramel in the nose, as well as some hops. Medium body with grainy malt and caramel flavors along with some hops here and there. The finish is sweet toffee and malt with a short caramel aftertaste. Average overall. hotstuff (3019), Indiana, USA Jan 20, 2008 Draft at Steelhead BC, Eugene, OR. Small ivory head that was mostly lasting, fair amount of lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a reddish-orange hue. Nose was malty, caramel, lightly roasty, toffee, hoppy and sweet. Flavor was sweet, malty, caramel, hoppy, and toffee. Smooth mouthfeel and light-medium body. Quaffable, decent brew. goldtwins (3672), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 7, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a clear copper color with an off-white head. Semi-sweet toffee aroma with some citrus notes and a hint of pine. Citrus forward flavor with a grainy middle. What’s up with their beers being so grainy. this one was close to being astringent. Dry fairly bitter finish. Long finish. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Dec 12, 2007 Date: 12/02/2007
