On tap @ Steelhead Burlingame. Black pour with a tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. A touch acidic. Some earthy hops, molasses, and a lot of licorice. Not bad on the palate, but a touch acidic. Lots of roasted malt bitterness. Dark chocolate, coffee, and earthy hops. Light molasses sweetness, burnt sugar, and licorice.

very dark and somewhat more drinkable than a normal stout which means it was slightly thin. sampled from brewpub in burlingame.

Sampled at the Burlingame brewpub. Had a stout appearance but not nitro like guinness, much more of a thin head than i am used to. Flavors were sweet but not too smooth. Overall, not one of their better brews.

Had this as part of an 8 beer flight. Very flavorful stout. Just enough of a chocolate-y flavor to let you know itís there. Great texture and hop-y finish.

Burlingame. Very fruity aroma, which is somewhat odd for a stout. Very pleasant with chocolate notes in the nose. Opaque appearance. Tastes like a nut brown Guineess. Creamy. Butter scotch.

Burlingame tap. Black, lower carb level. Roasty and sweet in aroma and flavor. Full bodied with caramel aftertaste. Clean mocha finish.
