Sample at the Irvine brewpub. Named for a Native American people that lived in the Los Angeles, this beer is a dark reddish-brown color with a thin and creamy beige head that dissipates slowly. Stringy lacing. Roasty aroma of malt and coffee. Medium, smooth body with flavors of malt, roasted coffee and hops. The finish is mildly bitter hops with a lingering roasted coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
