This brew poured out a hazy yellowish gold color. The head was foamy white and nearly went over the brim of my glass. The smell of the beer had a decent spiciness to it and got me a little curious to taste it. The taste right from the start was metallic, Kind of gross. As the beer warmed that flavor faded and became more of a floral and spicy tasting brew. The mouthfeel was average, had some carbonation that settled by the end of the bottle. An average Tripel in my opinion.

Clear golden color. A little heavy on the carbonation. The flavor is also a little too sweet as well. The finish has a slight burn to it denoting the higher alcohol content. This beer is ok for the style at best. It’s not a bad beer, just missing key notes to add up to other beers in it’s class.

Pours a golden clear beer with a goof white head. Smells like herbs grass spices. taste is ok. Little bitter and sweet. The carbo is too fizzy.

330 ml fra Vinmonopolet. Lys ravfarve med hvitt middels skum. Aroma av malt, appelsinskall og banan av gjæren. Smaken har også karamell og sødme, men frisk syre og middels bitterhet. (Munkegata, 24.04.13)

trasparente,schiuma quasi assente,aroma lievemente percettibile e assolutamente non da tripel,gusto secco,poco persistente e insensato..magari è un tipo di tripel diverso li a brugge,ma a me nnon è piaciuto,per niente!!

February 2013. From bottle. Poured golden yellow with a white head. Aromas were clove, yeast, spices, some bread or caramel noted too.

GRUUT? The fruity taste of malt and yeast. Where I must find the influence of the GRUUT eludes me still, but this is actually a fine beer

0.33l bottle. This is a bright cleat golden one with a huuuge and what I call everlasting almost fluffy just off-white head. Looks really nice in the glass, and the aroma? It immediately reminds me of a woody white wine! Green acidic and alcoholic grapes at first, but after a while when the head settles down a bit it becomes more a tripel. Lovely Belgian yeast and light candied sugar dominates. Some faint apply-fruitiness in the background. It’s above average on the carbonation and gliding oily on the mouthfeel. Sharp Belgian flavors. You notice the alcohol - especially in the extreme heated sharp and warming aftertaste. More of this green slightly sour apples and light candied sugar. The finish has a mild metallic and grainy touch. Yeah, a nice classic tripel indeed. 07.02.2013

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde but bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. golden colour with big dense white head. Fruity aroma with apples ans some graininess. Yeasty slightly sweet taste with more fruity tones. Nice bittersweet aftertaste. Good tripel

Flaske fra polet: tårnhøjt, hvitt skum. Klar&gylden. Aroma av stikkelsbær og rips. Medium munnfylde og overraskende tørr smak og ettermak. Lite sødme for en tripel, men det gjør den på en måte mer lettdrikkelig. Dog ingen benchmark.
