Bananensnoep in aroma en smaak, ietwat chemisch zoete smaak, karamel met zoete afdronk. Geen randje bitter of kruiden.

Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 6.5% Transparent brown caramel colour with one finger of light brown head. Average retention, nice thick lacing on the glass. Sweet frutiy aroma with caramel notes, ripe bananas. Taste is also sweet and fruity, at least a first. Ripe bananas again, green apples, caramel, black berries. On the finish light bitterness with good duration. Thin body, ikay carbonation, on the high side. Overall okay, it lacks some body but it’s nice and drinkable.

On tap. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread notes with a touch of dark grains. Flavor is similar with dark bread and dark grains plus a hint of must.

Draught beer. The beer has a beautiful ruby red color and creamy head. Smell: sweet , caramel. In the taste some light fruit tones back but above all the sweetness (almost sugary) dominates. Too little body, too sweet...

aroma opens with very sweet roasted malts, some caramel, than dark fruit (cherries, berries), brown sugar, apple syrup, some herbal undertones, basement aromas, skunky, clear dark redbrown, almost no bubbles, tan frothy head, creamy layer of half cm remains, creamy lacing, taste opens sweetbitter and fruity, continues with roasted sugar sweetness and fruity (plum, cherry) flavor, slight bitterness at the end. Not bitter enough to be a real bock.

Pours a ruby red beer with a stable off-white head. Appearance is the best aspect about this beer. Aroma: cherry candy. Taste: sweet with a sweet finish. Palate: effervescent, full body. I consider this to be a sweet dubbel instead of a bock.

Bought a bottle at the supermarket in Leerdam. The beer has a ruby color and nice cream colored head, CO2 level is perfect with lots of bubbles. Aroma of spices, some dark fruits and a little caramel. The taste is sweet with a light bitterness and some tones of caramel and dark fruits. The finish is light bitter and dry. Definitely not bad, but there are better ones.
