$8.99 for a 750 ml bottle @ my local Market Basket. Cellared since Feb 2011. Clear yellow color. Light head retention. Apples and sweet malt aroma with some spices. Light touches of clove as well. Similar flavors but…. It’s not really getting me excited here. Thinner body with lots of lively co2. Champagne- like dryness in the finish. Goes down easy due to the thin body. This was a letdown. No problems but it just didn’t do it for me.

Pours clear golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is of spices, stale malts, corn, and some banana. Flavor is of sweeter malts, citrus, aluminum, and some spices. Tastes much better than it smells. Leaves a sweeter aluminum malt finish. Really isn’t anything impressive.

Light orange golden colour, white head. Spicy fruity aroma, Belgian yeast, light malts. Spicy malty flavour, light bitter, light sweet. OK tripel, not very special.

Bottle:   Golden amber, large frothy white head, dies quickly leaving spotty lacing.   Fruity and floral nose.   Sweet, a little heat is exhibited.   Strong grassy maltiness up front, floral, some pale fruit, but also some alcohol.   Tastes like a heavier Tripel.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Bready finish, dull floralness, warming, not as fruity as the nose and start.   Decent, fairly average as Belgians go but still enjoyable.

Bottle 33 cl, Cracked Kettle. Pours clear deep amber with a creamy off white head leaving lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty, hoppy and hay. Very crisp mouthfeel. Flavor is fruity, sweet, a bit pungent, malty, has nice bitterness and slight tones of phenols. Finishes sweet malty and a bit bitter. Very nice indeed.

Bottle. Used Trappist glass. Pours an orange-copper color w/ a frothy white head. Aromas of nutmeg, malts, a hint of clove, some banana on pour w/ analogous flavors. Has a slight alcohol burn going down. A bit of bite to it on the tongue. It is definitely a spicy brew. Pretty decent stuff.

Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Yeasty hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hoppy bitter with a herby touch and a dry ending.

Bottle 33cl. (Brabante Gran Triple). Dark amber hazy beer with abundant off-white head. Sweet malty aroma, also fruits, peach are present. The taste is medium sweet, caramel, with a soft carbonation and medium body. Not very hopped and suitable alcoholic final.
