Very good tripel, much smoother and less overpowering coriander than some others out there. Very crisp and refreshing, could pair well with almost anything.

Golden colour, medium white head with decent retention. Nice bready aroma, with hints of marzipan and butter. I definitely like the smell of tripels, as far as I can judge. Starts off somewhat sweet, to give way to some unpleasant, very herbal and metallic bitterness. That’s at least what the first few sips feel like, after that a more balanced taste kicks in, with hints of lime, alcohol and clove. Rather heavy body, the way I like it. Kind of weird, this beer.

really not my kind of tripel: marzipan, root beer and bubble gum (bazooka joe’s) in the nose, very sweet and somewhat unbalanced, and not very complex, almost cloying mouthfeel.

Authentic abbey tripel with snow white, rocky, sticky, stable head and light golden blonde colour, clear but ochre and hazy with deposit. Malty aroma, grainy, bready, a bit earthy, peach, grapefruit, spicy hops. Malty, sweetish, fruity taste, drying in the finish with a gentle herbal hop bitterness in the tail, a bit spicy. Very accessible and stereotypical, but balanced and decent tripel.

Yeast aroma. Cloudy amber pour.light and tingly start. Dry floral middle. Seems like a brut of beer. Must let it warm up. Tasty but nothing bold. Seems a very light tripel until it warms up and the subtle floral citrus and very faint hint of hops begin to shine.
