Sampled at the World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Appearance: Somewhat hazy yellow color with a huge head... spilled all over the place during the pour. Smell: Well, itís a Tripel. Banana, crackery, a slight "Belgian" aroma. Taste: Quite good. I havenít had TOO many Tripels, but this oneís pretty good. The downfall with this one, I think, is that itís just too "warm." Iíve had Tripels with considerably higher ABVs that havenít felt so warming... this almost feels like 10% or higher. If it werenít for that significant warming, Iíd give it a higher rating. As it is though, itís still a Tripel worth trying.

Clear orange amber with a small white head, large swaths of lace. Taste is alcohol accompanied ripe banana, raisins, fresh mown grass, and citrus bittering. It is a lot to consider, but isnít satisfying, which would be the bottom line in a tripel. Not recommended.

Bottle. I was disappointed by this brew. It was thin and tasted of dyacetly. Not one I would try again.

Clear golden appearance with strong carbonation and very foamy head. Spicy and malty aroma, fruits and yeast. Sweet and alcoholic taste. Overall good Tripel style beer.

750 c&c bottle from Spirits Brick Blvd. Poured far darker than I was expecting, a solid deep orange body sits under an average size cottony bright white head. Aroma was cheap white wine, raisins, super wet grains, rotting flowers, sugar and honey.Fuller bodied with average to lighter carbonation and a lingering sweet aftertaste. Flavor is breads, sugars, dry honey, molasses, flower stems, some nut shell and grain husks. This is not that good.

Vrij zurig (iets zoetig) biertje met een bittertje. Niet echt een body, blijft niet hangen.

Shared a bottle with peltmeister. Goudgeel bier, mooie witte schuimkraag. Geur licht muffig. Smaak is zurig/wrang met bittertje in de nasmaak.

Bottled, 33 cl. Shows an opal deep golden colour with a rocky white head on its top. Citrus fruity nose and aroma containing lemon, apricot, grain and herbs underpainted by alcohol. Long, spicy, warming finish. Texture is syrupy. Fine.
