Poured a slightly hazed golden color with an off-white head. Spicy, herbal and yeasty aroma over a toasted malt base. Malty flavor a little on the dull side other than a spicy finish. Light bodied.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (5631) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 30, 2010
750mL bottle. Poured clear, bright golden with a tall, dense white head. The aroma picked up sour pineapple and hay with accents of earth and vanilla.. spice character was minimal, so this was a bit too far skewed to the fruit. The flavor opened with the expected tart pineapple, followed by a whole lot more sugars than expected (bready and pale malts, with a touch of honey).. white pepper and mild clove accented.. lots of residual bready and honey sugars on the finish with just a hint of the pineapple. Medium-bodied and very well carbonated on the palate.. lightly tart, but very sweet overall.. this seemed like a dumbed-down tripel, but it sure was drinkable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 LinusStick (2386) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 24, 2010
A delicious and extremely drinkable tripel. Aroma was classic Belgian. Heavy on the yeast, light fruits and spices. Pour was a nice bubbly medium pale gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was nice and full and not overpowering like some tripels tend to be. Bold apple, pear and spices with a nice drying aftertaste. Nice carbonation and hides the alcohol very well. Great beer!

750 mL bottle. Golden, slightly cloudy pour with a medium frothy pure white head. Aroma of bananas, yeast and faint floral hops. Full bodied taste of yeast and spices. Even, slight dry finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JMerritt (1568) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2009
Clear gold in color with a small, bright white head. Lots of bubbles stream up the glass. Aroma of honey, graham cracker, and cloves with just a hint of alcohol near the tail end. Moderately sweet caramelized banana flavor, though I get just a bit of wet cardboard underneath the clean vanilla malt. Lightly yet sharply carbonated, very nice for the style.
