Bottle > snifter Pours a mostly transparent orange with fine sediment. Head is white, fine and thick, 1-2 finger bredths. Aromas of sour grapes, banana, light piney hop. Taste is very light almost tasteless at first then sour, bready malt with a faint hint of hops. Nice balance but very light. Light Mouthfeel. Easy sipping tripel, nothing really special

Bottle of Brabante Gran Triple from Coppers, Newcastle. Golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a spicy lemon and gentle vanilla flavour followed by a malty and creamy toffee finish. Pretty good but too little flavour for it’s high ABV.

Geruch hefig, Gewürze, hopfig, leichte Herbe. Antrunk süßlich, gewürzt. Anschließend weiter würzig, Hopfennoten. Abgang herb-bitter, trocken. Gefällt mir.

Ámbar clara, algo turbia. Espuma reducida que desaparece pronto. Aroma a malta y caramelo.

Karamel, Kekse. Naja, nix besonderes.

The beer has got a cloudy golden-orange colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and flowers. Taste of sweet hops, malt, Belgian yeast, flowers and caramel. Yeasty finish. Drinkable, yet nothing special.

Couleur orangée un peu trouble, très légère mousse. Fruité sucré avec sucre rajouté. Gout fruité, pomme, sucre, alcool style abbaye forte pas chère. Vraiment triple décevante....

Bottle 75cl kindly shared by Calisky. A clear yellow beer with huge head and good retention. Nose is on apple, quince and belgian yeast. Aroma is on ripped apples, diesel notes, alcohol, apples skin, lot of added sugar, almost disgusting.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle, still from the original Gouden Boom brewery. Golden color. Aroma’s: a bit sweet malts, fruity. Flavor malt/grain, hardly any sweetness. Alcohol feel is rather strong. Medium bodied. Finish is long, but no new flavors.
