4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Papsoe (25129) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) My original version was from "De Gouden Boom" in Bruges. Orangey golden with a fine head. I get very vinous associations here - like a very good Chardonnay. Spicy with a late bitterness. Extremely, rich, aromatic and complex - the kind of beer that slowly unfolds in your mouth. Great stuff indeed. 151197

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is semisweet, and has some notes of alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet overall, almost like some of the sweeter Eastern European Lagers... Still, quite close to nothing, and boring.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2002
Blond colour. Some medicinal aroma. Light body (for this strength), citrusy, too much alcohol. Pretty good hopping, in the body and the palate.
