Straw with a porous head that holds well; wet cardboard and apple juice aroma; very dry... almost more of a belgian strong golden ale because of the marked dryness.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle, still from the original Gouden Boom brewery. Golden color. Aroma’s: a bit sweet malts, fruity. Flavor malt/grain, hardly any sweetness. Alcohol feel is rather strong. Medium bodied. Finish is long, but no new flavors.

Gylden brun klar med høyt kremete offwhite skum. Lukter toffee. Fyldig karamell. Kort medium bitter avslutning.

From a 33 cl bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a hazy copper with a thick white head. Banana aroma. Flavors of tropical fruits. Light herbal finish.

.5 L at St. Arnold’s Mussel Bar in Washington DC. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a small, fluffy white head. Aroma was fruity yeast notes, lots of sweet sugar, some straw. Alcohol comes out a bit in this one. Light floral notes on the finish. Okay.

Butelka, warka do 03-07-17. biala, wysoka dosc i powoli opadajaca piana, samo piwo przaktycznie w pelni przejrzyste (mimo nalania do dna - drozdze zbily sie cieniutka warstewka na dnie butelki), o jasnym, zoltawo pomaranczowym kolorze.

Very good tripel, much smoother and less overpowering coriander than some others out there. Very crisp and refreshing, could pair well with almost anything.
