Wow, the greatest Alt on earth....... MoritzF (3926), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 25, 2007 (bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a foamy off-white, non persistent head. Slightly sweet toas-malty aroma with caramel and herbal, slightly metallic hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with moderate to crispy carbonation. Toasty, malty, also a bit papery taste with notes of caramel and very shy fruity notes; moderately dry, bitter, herbal hoppy finish with a touch of cardboard. Still somewhat drinkable. Kinskiklaus (2), Germany does not count Sep 7, 2005 quite a decent alt, drinkable, with some nice aromas, but nothing too good or too special.
