2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
From old notes - Pours light amber and clear with a small off-white head. It tastes of sweet malt, grain and caramel. Bland. Underwhelming.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark golden amber with a small, quick to dissolve, head and light dots of lace. Taste begins with caramel malt that moves smoothly through to a slightly carbonated bitter finish. Similar to all the older, regional brewery outputs, but of a little higher caliber. Very drinkable, but not memorable.

Bottle. Sweet toffee malt and grass aroma. Dark amber color with small head. Sweet toffee malt and lightly bitter grassy hops flavor. Okay - a bit past its prime.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Twelve ounce bottle for a buck from a "budget" singles display at The Party Source--a good way for me to get acquianted with beers that are new to me, especially since I lack the funds to consistently purchase Quintuple Nuclear Reactor Aged Imperial Stout. Medium amber hue, small white head, medium sweet malty, caramel aroma, thin body, interesting sweet malty taste with some chemical notes with bitter, astringent finish. This might have been a little old, but still a better amber lager then Yuengling Traditinal Lager. This review is number 1 in a series.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle. Honestly, not bad. I think that’s because the amber is a harder style to mess up than the ipa, or belgian white. Still got that sharp carbonation, but the amber is just ambery enough for a sufficient aftertaste. And after 5 beers, how much does it still matter, honestly? .

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Amber color, minimal head and lacing, clear (2.5/5). Nose of grass and very faint malt. Palate is much the same and very sugary. Pleasant enough, this style usually leaves lots of room for disappointment, but those who don’t want to venture towards hoppy but want something a bit different might like it.
