Light straw with an almost non-existent head. Flowery malty aroma, solid mouth feel, ends boring, but not offensive. A really good pilsener.

A bland beer, but it is very cheap and better than other similar style beers like coors and budweiser

This is a light golden color with a bit of foam on top, with a "slight" hoppy smell. Taste is a simple hop/malt mix which I call beer. No real after taste, but to me it is an average beer.

Decent. Nothing spectacular. Its alright considering they more than likely use water from the susquehanna.

clear, piss yellow with quickly dying head. Big corn aroma and flavor. I paid 69 cents for this 16 oz. I got what I paid for............

I’ve had worse beer, but I’m thinking this was an old case. The other Lion Brewery products, e.g. Lionhead, Brewery Hill Pale Ale, 1876, Stegmaier Porter are all worth a purchase. I hope to try this fresh. All in all for the $12 I paid, I was not let down, and is still a good alternative to a Coors Light or Miller Lite, even though I don’t prefer pilsners. MY FIRST RATING!!!

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2012 I was suprised this was such a good beer even though it spent 2.5 years in my spare fridge. I had a case of Stegmaier cream ale back in ’79’ while in collage in Alfred NY. That was very bad beer, but I was poor then. I received this from a friend who knew about that. I resisted drinking it until I started rating beers. It seemed fitting that I made this my 100th beer rated. I’d like to thank Steve for helping me buy that case back in ’79’. JB for helping drink it and Chaz for buying me the much improved Stegmaier product of today.

A classic, refreshing pilsner. The rest of the country is missing out on a beer that tates like a beer should.
