2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
I admit, I was drawn to this because it was 10.99 for an 18 pack of 16oz cans and i was low on cash. Pours a bright clear gold with fizzy white head. Aroma actually has some nice sharp grassy notes. Flavor likewise is surprising. Some level of grainy malt to the base as well as some grassy hop notes in the finish. Overall, probably the finest super cheap beer Iíve had.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma - corny and wet stock paper
Appearance - yellow body; liquid is very clear, some nucleation; head is about 1/8" white
Taste - corn and wet paper bag
Palate - body light; texture really thin; carbonation is stale; finish not really applicable

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep, clear gold with a small dirty-white head.
Slightly sour grain malt aroma.
Taste is grain, sweet malt, barley....
Seems like some rice in there, somewhere, as well.
Pretty much cheap-beer-typical, but better than many bargain beers.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tall boy from DiarmaidBHK - Pours a clear gold with a white head. Decent lacing on the glass. Taste is sweet, finishes dry. There is a bit of oiliness in the palate. Better than I was expecting, but still not a great beer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
16oz can. Pours a deep gold with a small head. Nose of corn...or is it wet cardboard? Heavy mouthfeel. Overly malty, little or no hops. Iíll pass the next time.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours loss colored from can without much head. No aroma to speak of unless you spill it on someoneís clothing. Taste was faintly of grains with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Certainly not the worst pale lager ever but I bought an 18 pack so I have 16 more to get rid of. Someoneís going to get a really shitty secret Santa gift.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from State Line. Exactly what I expected but the flavor exceeded my expectations a bit - overall the beer was not as watered down or processed as some other mass produced cheap beers. I would try this one again.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
My second new pale lager in as many days. To me, there is not much closer to heaven that I can get w/o taking the plunge to my final reward. This one is pale golden in color w/ a small white head. The particular hue is one I actually find quite appealing. This could easily be one of the finest beers in the world based on appearance. Itís not though. Itís a grainy, fizzy and refreshing brew. It might be a bit on the watery side but it does have decent hop character, which is a bit grassy and maybe very lightly skunked. Iíd say in the end this does achieve what it sets out to achieve which is to be a light drinkable lager w/ a little more character than your standard American fare. I certainly have no complaints about that.
