Pours deep, murky, red-brown with a short tan head. Caramel, spice aroma. Flavour is flat cola, caramel, fruit.... Flowery/herbal bitter. A little flat, and a little off.

Pours dark amber with a small beige head that dissipated very quickly to just a film. Aroma is floral, spice and caramel. Lots of caramel. Taste is almost overly sweet with a weird spicy bitterness. Was a little messy for my tastes.

Deep amber with a white head. Aroma has light spices, toasted caramel malts, and a bit of sweet fruit. Medium smooth body. Flavor is similar. The dull spice layer kinda kills it though. Decent enough but not doing it for me.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear dark red color with a large frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts, caramel and a bit of a soapy note. The taste is bitter with notes of hops. burnt sugar, soy and spice. Medium bodied with assertive carbonation. A weird one for sure.

Pours a transparent ruby with orange tint and a loose bubbled light brown head. The nose has a strong underlying malt component with a fair bit of spice and mint. Nutmeg and cinnamon with a light sweetness. The taste has a deeper dark malt, a bit roasty and nutty. There is the same christmas spice with a fair bit of bitterness in the back with a lingering mint and mouthwash burn. The body is thick and has some graininess from left over sugars. The carbonation is a bit assertive and the finish is rarther bitey. Overall has too much sugar left over and some strong mintiness.

12oz bottle as Winter Warmer: Pours a clear deep amber mahogany with a spotty-lacing covering of off-white head. Has a sweet toasty dark caramel malty nose with some dark fruity notes and a touch of grassy English hops. Starts with pretty good fullness and chewy sweet dark caramel malts with a good balance of bittering hoppiness before a drier, bready finish. True to style with decent complexity.
