poured hazy straw color. some wheat and a little spice in the nose. abrasive coriander on the tongue, not enough orange. easy drinking, but not well done wit.

Thanks to a buddy of mine for bringing this over. Pours out a cloudy yellowish color with a moderate white head. Aroma of some orange peel, coriander and slight yeast. Taste is very buttery, some yeast, citrus and coriander. Not all that well balanced.

I think they took the summer stock and added a few grams of coriander and some more orange to try to get some sort of Belgian feel which would be great if the orange wasn’t so dominant and there was an ale in here. Extremely wet palatte so it might make a lawnmower beer but not as elegant as summer stock was. I paid a dollar for this.

Knight’s Head, bottle
Cloudy beige. Uneventful wheaty nose with a hint of yeast. Fairly boring territory here, very little malt and no f’n spice. Boring.

Good stuff. It’s aroma is a bit faint, with a bit orange peel maybe some spice. It’s appearance is lightly cloudy yellow. It’s also had a very heady fluff, which quickly dissipated. It’s flavor is very good, with a tart spice, noticably malts and fruit zest. It’s masterfully smooth. Overall a very nice brew.

Had this under the ’Knight’ label. A poor example of a Belgian witbier. It’s drinkable but thats about all I can say.

Tastes like a dumbed down Disney Land non-alcoholic wit to be served to kids in BelgiumLand. Oranges juice mixed with coors light and a little coriander. Not that it’s awful. The nose is nice.

I had this labeled as Knight’s Head White Ale...didn’t know it was Steg...but oh well...very bland but not too bad.
