Rich amber color with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is malty with a little banana and some disruption by something else (almost agave or smokiness). Somewhat thin bodied and quick finishing, it has tastes of dry grain and corn with a little booziness coming through even though it’s not a particularly high abv. Less expensive than some Oktoberfests on the shelf next to it, but tastes it.

Definitely better Oktoberfests out there in the world. Drank out of a bottle so couldn’t tell you the appearance. Hope to have it at the Brewery sometime in the near future.

NOt very good at all. Light caramel colored. Some malt, and very thin overall. This one was dialed in and lacks the palate and full bodied malt of a higher-quality oktoberfest.

THOUGHTS: Not bad, but not great either. Nice and sweet but not enough hops to balance all the malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium amber with a small, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma had lots of different malts. There was heavy, dark bread, cookie, toasted, caramel, sugar water, honey, cake, and graham cracker like malts. There was also light grassy hops and slight cardboard. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was heavily sweet and lightly bitter with an average duration. The medium body was syrupy and lightly fizzy with a dry and slightly astringent finish.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Virginia Beach. Pours a clear copper color with a foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, candied citrus, toasted malts. The taste is toasted caramel malts, anise, faint fruits, mild hops. Medium bodied. Generic, but solid.

Bottle from b3shine. Poured clear brown color with a minimal frothy off-white head that was mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations where met.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep orange/amber color, with a medium to this white head. Nose of sweet matl and cramel. Creamy mouthfeel, taste on the sweet side, with some hops around there somewhere. A nice Oktoberfest.

Bottle to pint. Looks fine; a transparent orangish-brown with off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells weird; skunky, roasty, and malty. Tastes like it smells with a semi-sweet backbone. Average (at best) on the palate. Not awful, but not good either.

Bottle from vintage estate. Pours brown with an inch of khaki foam. Hints of toffee, caramel, and butter on the nose. The diacetyl is prominent on the tongue but fades as the beer warms. Unfortunately not much flavor replaces it. Finishes clean. It could be a really solid beer without all of the butter.
