Tap at Richtar Jakub. Aroma lightly roasted, lightly sourish. Colour is clear dark ruby-brown. Huge brownish head. Taste is very seeet, biscuit, chocolate, brown sugar. I like sweet beers but this is too much. Phew. Finish is sweet-sourish, medium duration

Na můj vkus trochu sladší, ale pořád na černé pivo hodně pitelné. Steiger to holt vyhrává kvalitou vody, pivo z minerálky bude vždy spešl.

Bottle via the undisputed new King of Bratislava: Cuso. Nose of Rust Oleum Rusty Metal Primer spray paint....Oh crap, that was me painting. Pours a dark black with a finger thick oily tan head that sticks about and looks at you. First taste is super sugary sweet, body seems to grow fuller and sweeter with a low chocolate undertone. Looong lasting body that is unchanged into lasting finish that allows a bit of malt to show thru the sugar. This is a meal beer. Groovy baby!

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2012 Bottle from Slovak Republic. Pours transparent golden brown, with a medium, foamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffe. Taste is sweet malt, some coffee and caramel. Medium bitter, medium bodided, Nice.

Pleasant sweet rich roasty aroma. Very dark red, brief tan head. Smooth sweet body, a little slick. Roasty and caramelly. Finish sugary, and at least has a nice little burntness too. Pretty good, but alas too sweet.

Bottle shared at my birthday party at CBC, London. Thanks to Cuso for sending this! Pours clear, red-brown with a strong, tan foam head. Dark sugar and candy in the aroma, with notes of dark fruits, too. Sickly sweet flavor isn’t very awesome. Notes of dark fruit, sugar, sweet bread. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sticky sweet finish with lots of dark, sugary bread and fruits. Very sweet, tons of sugar. I like a sweet dunkel probably more than the next guy, but this was a bit too sweet. Overall just about drinkable.
