Flasche (750ml): Copper coloured and hazy, very stable medium-sized off-white head, rich nose: toffee, dried fruits and lemony traces under a solid hoppy aroma of exotic hops with grapefruity and piney influences, illusions of cough-syrup, too; solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, almost full bodied; cough syrup, fruity hops and a lemony fruitiness in the finish, followed by a really dry bitter aftertaste. Well rounded and fully flavoured brew.

Theydon_Bois (8695) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2014
Bottle shared at the RBESG ’14, Grander Tasting @ Moncada, 09/08/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is straw, light citric peel, bitter orange. Taste comprises bready notes, pale malt, floral notes, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so IPA - just doesn’t deliver much.

RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Hazy deep gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth with fine carbonation. Tired oxidised tasting caramel malts. Light pine and spice. Tired dried fruits. Dry soft finish. Disappointing.

Leighton (10987) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a white cream head. Sugary caramel and bread make up the character here, with whiffs of old pine as well. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary toasted cracker finish with some dry caramel to boot. So so.
