The aroma is very skunky which i like. The appearance is very light and transparent. The flavor stays at the back of my tongue for several seconds and has a lasting skunky aftertaste. Not heavy at all and goes down smooth. One of the better pale lagers that i have tried.

Tastes pretty similar to most American lagers. Aroma and taste had a little too much rice in them. Overall it was pretty smooth and drinkable, and I’d choose it over bud.

This comes out of the tap a cloudy straw yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is malty, not too strong, has a hint of banana. Flavor is malty, nice and crisp, more mouth-filling than most lagers. Texture is sassy and jazzy so it makes you take notice while it is headed down the pipes.

11.15 oz bottle purchased at Super Saver Pennington. Poured into my Allagash glass a very good looking straw gold body with a very large foamy white head. Hey what just happened did someone just kill a skunk?? Nope I just took a sniff and almost fell over. Thin bodied with small bubbly carbonation and a watery finish. Flavor has some skunk and perhaps a touch of hops?? Hard to tell over the Pepe LaPue taste. Life is to short for me to drink any more of this one. Good bye Steinlager thanks for my New Zealand rating.

330ml Bottle. Poors an average size white head, pale coloured beer. Crisp, pure tasting beer with an average size hop bite to finish. Better then Heineken.

A bit of musty aroma, but basically fresh smelling. The color is traditional lager, foam is plentiful and sticks around. Hops save the flavor which watery otherwise. The palate is as expected for a pale lager. Not a bad beer for hottest summertime

Like bud, with hop character. For some reason Australia makes the best pale lagers.

Bottled. Pours honey colored with a white head. Floral aroma with minty notes. Actually it smells quite grassy. Starts off with a sweet malt flavor and then switches over to a grassy flavor with a hint of mint. Body is smooth and almost has a bread character to it.
