Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow color. Medium sized, bubbly white head. Some bready malts and grass in the aroma. Flavor is your standard pale lager fare. Slighly hoppy with a fizzy, crisp finish. Slight bump because the beer comes from the same country that gave us Flight of the Conchords.

Jun 24, 2008 12 oz. Clear pale straw with a small, lasting head. Aroma is rubber and honey. Flavor is rubber and cardboard. Light body is too fizzy and sort of dry.

Jun 21, 2008 Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Clear straw yellow with a medium frothy head. Aroma is major skunk with some graininess. Taste is buttered popcorn, grassiness and skunk.

Jun 16, 2008 this was not really good at all. Honestly, i’d way rather have a hamms. Not only did it taste like very little, it was well skunky. Not in a good way like grolsch either. drinkable but not worth drinking.

Jun 15, 2008 12 oz green bottle . Pours a clear straw with a whispy white head with good retention. Moderatley carbonated. Pale malt aromas with a touch of corn and some spicey hops. Flavor is malt accentuated of sweet pale malt, some cereal. Clean. Medium mouthfeel. Finish is somewhat sweet with some hop bitterness coming through.

Jun 13, 2008 Bottle to drink in celebration of New Zealand comedy with Flight of the Conchords. Pours a thin yellow/gold with a fairly large and fizzy, white head. Aromas are skunky hops (like Becks). Flavor is sweet corn malt and skunky hops... not bad, not great. Good summer brew.

Jun 12, 2008 Updated: Jun 16, 20086 pack of bottles at the grocery store. Pours a pale golden and is surpisingly a medium + body that is quite malty. some skunkiness as the top is popped. A fine dirt moving and lawnmower beer. (Sci-ma-tifi-cally proven). Astringent finish??? Maybe for the kiwis but rather rounded IMHO. A pretty wihite head dissipates fast but leaves a fine ephemeral lacing on the sides of mug.
