| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 14, 2007 From a green 330 ml. bottle, no freshness date I could find, sampled in a pint glass.
A clear pale yellowish golden appearance with a foamy white head, small amount of ringed sticking.
The first thing I noticed in the aroma is the standard sulfur Euro lager yeastiness, like you find in a lot of German macro lagers, followed by grainy sweet malts and a light vegetal hop.
Good carbonation and a dry, crisp, firm medium-light bodied mouthfeel, tastes of salty saltine-like maltiness, a thin honey graininess, vegetal hops that get a little spicy towards the end, a dry grainy finish. Smooth, easy drinkability, not bad on a hot summer day.
Pretty much your average Euro Pale Lager, better than some eastern European EPL’s I’ve had, with a cheaper price as well.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Found a 12oz bottle of this with all of the dinged up cans at Ralphs. Purchased for 75 cents. Mostly a skunky green bottle aroma. Pours pale gold with a small white head that sticks to the side of glass. A wierd skunky sweetness is followed by crisp hops, a mild earthy notes, a little grain perhaps, and some metal. Quite alot of flavors for a pale lager. Better than American Macros. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal, with some apple and a bit of skunk. Mild skunkiness comes through in the flavor as well, along with a fruitiness (apples) that usually is not present in a pale lager. Medium body, carbonation is not overdone, which it is in many lagers, in my opinion. I’m pretty sure most of the bottles we are seeing in the States are now contract brewed at High Falls in Rochester, NY (mine was). trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2007 When is comes to pale lagers, I like this one. Clear yellow with a bubbly white head. Bready, veggie, and slightly metallic aroma. Sharp bite that quickly goes sweet. Dry finish. Enjoyable and refreshing.
