Not much here but wasn’t expecting anything either. A basic pale lager that sort of tastes like its always skunked.

Very light yellow appearance, and little head. The aroma is at first sweet, then I realize it is somewhat reminiscent of bourbon. It doesn’t taste like it at all, of course, but the taste is quite interesting; it’s actually has more of a honey taste than most "honey" branded beers (like Honey Weiss). While the taste isn’t too overwhelming, it’s not a typical light lager either. The palate is harsh. Overall, I think I like this beer, and would have it again (although I may not go out of the way for it).

22 oz bottle from my neighbor Mike (Thanks!). Color is like pee, and it has a large head. Smells just like all the other imported Pale lagers in green bottles. Stale, on it’s way to being skunked. Taste is grainy, some corn, grassy hops, with an astringant finish. Body is light, carbonation is high. An Ok lawnmower beer.

This has got pretty low ratings, but I liked this. I was expecting much as, despite beiong good at rugby, I wouldn’t have thought you’d be able to extract Kiwis from sheep long enough to brew a decent beer, but this is just about that. A refreshing bottled lager with enough hops to distinguish it from something like Heineken.

I bet Peter Jackson drank this at some point in his life. 11.15 oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear straw with a 1/4 finger fizzy white head, fades quickly. Aroma has some light skunk, dirty grain, wet dishrag, and some Crisco. Not good. Flavor is more wet papery with a bit of corny grain and minimal lemon rinds. Thin body with moderate carbonation. This pretty much sucks.

Similar to Hieneken in taste but maybe a little sweeter. Pale yellow color with non-existant head. Vague apple and dry citris but not enough to give my rating above 2.3.

330ml bottle - pours very pale yellow with a decent white head and some nice lacing. Smells of grassy hops and biscuits. Flavour is similar but quite thin, leaving very for the otherwise dry finish. Some sweet malts come through in the middle with notes of apple and some subtle citrus. Thin on the palette...not too much going on here. On the plus side, for a relatively generic Pale Lager, it’s very refreshing and I can see it making a decent lawn-cutting beer.
