Not too bad on the aroma, some light hops in addition to the corn, better than 90% of the BMC stuff out there. Taste is harsh, not very smooth, corn is very prevalent. Dry and bitter ending. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 21, 2006 A very pale lager. The skunky aroma overpowers the hops. It is a bit crisp but again the hops are not really a good quality to taste right. A dry grain flavor is most apparent with a bit of bitter finish. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Green-bottle-skunkiness aside (Heineken, Stella Artois), there is a crisp bite and refreshing swallow. Very drinkable. Often on sale where I live for as little as $3.99 a sixer. Great deal. The taste is different a bit different from most pale lagers, but in a bad way. Why do people drink this stuff? eaglefan538 (2358), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 6, 2006 Another world-wide boring pale lager that really just doesn’t taste that good. Somewhat of a pilsner taste with some grassy hops, but this was more watery than malty (had to have corn in it). The pour was golden swill yellow with a very small head. Nice light mouthfeel if you’re cutting grass (which I wasn’t), but other than that.... no good. ehhdayton (1113), USA

Bottle labeled A010706. Poured clear golden yellow with large white head. Good carbonation. Sweet malt and grassy aroma. Medium bodied New Zealand lager that starts dry with nutty/malty flavor. Finished dry with light malt fade. Very little hop presence. Decent drinkable lager for washing down food. Nothing special.
