1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Remember when this was considered a fancy beer. How things change. This is a thin watery beverage that is not to bad as a thirst quenching any beer will do option but over all not a beer to bother sitting down and really taking your time over.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330ml bottle. Pours pale, thin white head which quickly disappeared. Slightly funky aroma, little citrusy. Taste - some bitterness and body but overall thin, short. Not really anything I’d go out of my way to drink - like a couple of the other generic green bottles.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Serving: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a pale yellow with a stark white head. The nose has a light euro skunked note. The flavor has a touch of sweetness with a little light struck character and grass note. Light body with a lingering finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Steinlager Classic has a thin, white head and a clear, bubbly, golden appearance. Lacing is almost nonexistent. The aroma has an initial skunk whiff upon pouring the beer, but this goes right away. What one encounters is a sweet, lightly-toasted barley malt, a nice hop bitterness, and some cracker. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Steinlager finishes crisp and refreshing. Drinkability is astronomical. Overall, this is quite nice. RJT

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale gold, large but short-lived head; a generic crisp malty lager, dryer than most with a light bitterness; it was an acceptable accompaniment to my CTM, but it sure didn’t justify 11,500 drink miles.

25/VI/2012 - 33cl bottle with "all blacks" cap @ home - BB: n/a, bottled (?): A230611 (2012-652) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the bottle!
Clear pale yellow to light orange beer, big rocky creamy head, with some big bubbles, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, sweet corn, bit chemical, citrussy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, sweet sugary touch, very watery. Aftertaste: slight hop bitterness, sugar again. Meh, another lager boring as hell, only this time from the other side of the world. Can you spell "drain pour"? :p
