Oct 28, 2005 Bottle. Pale beer with a strong frothy head. The aroma is plainly dry and the flavour is quite dry and refreshing in parts. Overall not as bad as the ratings suggest.

Oct 27, 2005 Golden color with a large white head. Aroma of grassy hops with a hint of malt. Initial moderate sweet malt gives way to a short, dry finish. Nice body for a pale lager. Not as impressed as I was 20 years ago when I tried this for the first time, but still not bad for what it is.

Oct 25, 2005 bleh... sour bland classic pale lager. some kind of subtle spice note that makes it just different enough for me to lable it as exactly like everything else, but it is pretty boring. I think it would be alright to drink a lot of while watching rugby, just like the big three are decent to drink a bunch of while watching football.

Oct 24, 2005 Yellow - that prety much sums up the appearance, doesn’t it - nothing really exciting there. Aroma is corn and grains; dust. Fizzy. overly bubbly. thins and corny sweet. Make sure that you can buy a single bottle of this - a six pack would be redundant and a waste of your time. We’re so very lucky that it’s now available in Ohio.

Oct 18, 2005 Pours a two-finger white head that lasts and leaves a good lace. Crystal clear golden color. Nose is grainy & hoppy. Medium carbonation and light bodied. Starts and finishes hoppy with a lingering aftertaste. Reminds me of the American macros without the skunky nose. $1.35 for a 330ml bottle from RSVP Liquors Portland, Me.

Oct 18, 2005 Fairly run-of-the-mile pale larger although to be fair the Kiwi offering is a little best than most Oz macro examples. Standard bright yellow-gold in the glass. Quite expressive nose but not in a totally attractive way; thick, syrupy malts (I think). A bit industrial. Faithfully replayed in the palate although finishes a touch drier than expected after a thick, quite sweet front and middle. Not sure I’d go back for seconds.

Oct 14, 2005 Updated: Feb 7, 2006When I first smelled this beer, I misjudged it, I thought it was a little bad. BUt, when I tasted it, it was nice, I could taste some hoppy flavors and the aroma is alittle honney.
