Aroma of grassy hop, biscuity malt, little bit of sulphur. Little bit carbonated in the mouth, chemical hop finish. Nothing special, I’m afraid. mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 8, 2005 Poured a pale golden color, with a nicer head then expected that left a nice lacing at the top of the glass. Decent aroma, hoppy and grassy. Taste was fairly clean and refreshing, with a sweetness in the beginning turning a little bitter at the end. Pretty good for a pale lager. scotty (830), Scotland

Still looks good, white head stays and leaves a nice lace. Aroma is light, clean and grassy. Overall, a good clean refreshing lager, slghtly sweet with a subdued hoppiness. Pretty much as I remember it before I rated every beer I tried. Morissons 750ml. imdownthepub (5119), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

A fairly decent lager to finish our tour of the Wetherspoons world. Light, hoppy, sparkling, crisp and clean, certainly better than many of the beers we tried. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Clear golden with a small but fluffy white head. Armoa was a little wheaty, with some skunky hops. The palate is plain, and the bitterness is fairly well balanced, pehaps the hops are a little harsh. Not too bad overall, but nothing spectacular.

Poured like apple juice, slightly bubbly, smallish white head, quickly gone. Smelled skunky, vegetal, sugary sweet, some grain. Taste - not so sweet, very grainy, dry grass, some stale hops, sort of harsh and a bit chemically. Pretty standard SIL - bottle’s too big and shouldn’t be green! thegreenrooster (1818), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 23, 2005 Pour is a clear yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is of burnt malt. Flavor is pretty bland but crisp. Inoffensive but that’s not really a selling point.
