Clear light yellow pour with light off white head ... decent clingy lacing .... Aroma is light sweet malts, grainy with a grassy light citrus hop .... taste is of sweet malts and light bitter hops ... light watery and just another countries lager

330ml bottle. Smells of sweet grains with an overall floural backgound. The appearance is your typical lager, golden, fizzy with a white head. The taste is very similar to European lagers, crisp and refreshing but without the rubber aftertaste. I think this is actually the first beer from New Zealnd I have tried. For the price this is a tasty lager.

Served cold and poured a smallish, white, thick head that settled down and some lace. Color is a clear yellow with some bubble trails. Aroma is mild, beery. Flavor is bolder than nose, with hop bitter coming out, a hint of sweet, and strong carbonic tang. Body is ok, carbonation sharp. Finish is like flavor with bitter/tang dominating and slowly tapering after some time. Not really for me.

Been a long time since I have had this beer and would have to admit pleasantly surprised. Typically known as a "headache in a bottle" this beer is a very easy to drink style and is not overly complex.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 A lot better than average mainstream uk lagers (okay not much competition but you know what I mean). Actually felt it was nice, crisp, refreshing and moreish. Well done Asd - £5.00 FOR 6. (why is UK stuff overpriced when this comes from the other side of the world?)>>>actually got around 15 cases for £2.17, yes £2.17, each at Asda last week//..I’m all steined out - but enjoying!

Yellow, clear pilsener colour with a regular size head. Smells grainy and malty. Tastes like a good pilsener. Good co2, medium body.
