Clear yellow color, short head. Bit grainy aroma. Quite light and watery in taste. Just average.

Bottle. Pours light gold with a small frothy white head and a rock film. Sweet yeast (dough) and sour malt (hay, straw) aroma. Acidic bitter sour malt and tart hop flavor. Light bodied and dry palate.

Pale gold color with no head. Smells like a skunk... but suprisingly doesn’t taste like one. However the moldy grain silo more than makes up for it. Slightly bitter.

My first Kiwi beer. I’ve had a few already so I’ll give a proper review shortly but as it stans, I like it. (750ml bottle)

(Bottle 33 cl) Oh sweet memories, this was a clear favourite of mine many years ago in New Zealand. In particular I loved the fantastic aroma hops. Just smelling this beer was half the pleasure. But either my memory is failing me or my dearly beloved Steinie has really declined in recent years.
Pilsener golden with a decent, creamy head leaving a pretty lacework. Decent malty body and a hoppy finish. Just another ordinary lager. Sadness... 030805

Bottle, from Rythym & Booze, Brigg. Strawgold, poor white head and low condition. Some gentle malt in the nose, soft and chalky malt sweetness in the mouth with a little bitterness creeping into the finish.

I enjoy this lager for its abundant grassiness. Like walking through the foliage of the NZ mountains maybe. Pours a very light yellow with minor head. Nose is equally reserved but mouthfeel is fine although its a bit of a tightrope between nice hops and a lil skunk.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, small foamish white head. Malty and hoppy nose. Malty flavour which turns into biting hops in finish. Clean lager, but nothing very special.
