Yellow, small white head. Sticky aroma, harsh - maybe from malts. Starts watery, in the middle nice flowery hoppy flavor. Clean, well-made lager with some extra hoppyness to make it over the many other standard lagers.

Not much to say here. Pretty ho-hum. You’d think New Zealand would do better. But, nope. Sorry.

Bottle. Light grassy malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Flavor matches aroma - light grassy malt with mild hops finish. Light and smooth. Not a spectacular tasting beer but I like it.

clear pale straw colour with nice fluffy white head. grassy aroma, sweet grassy tatset with dry finish. Is not as bad as our Amercian friends make out to be. Is better fresh than those that have been sitting on a shelf for ages.

I like this one better than most pale lagers. If you like el bueno skunko, try it.

"World’s Best Lager". Wow, that’s funny. Essentially it is New Zealand’s answer to Foster’s/Budweiser/Labatt Blue. Just another bland pale lager... but they are refreshing in their own way.

Another pale lager import into Ontario. Not the worst of its style, some thirst quencher on an oppressively hot day. Nothing much to look at colourwise, a bit of temporary foram. Some substance in the taste. Malt, and some yeast. Malty balanced aftertaste.

Metallic lightly skunky aroma. Pale clear straw body topped by decent though short-lasting white head. The flavor is not so bad really. Quite hoppy, only lightly harsh metallic. Served at the right temp. (cold!) in teh right mood it is actually fairly decent. The add green 750ml bottle was an unexpected bonus.
